Streamline Technical Services Announces Successful Results from Solar PV Initiative

Round Rock, TX - October 25, 2010: Streamline Technical Services (STS) and Circular Energy announced today the preliminary results from a recent major solar PV installation on top of their two facilities in Central Texas.

The 150,000-watt system, part of a larger energy reduction strategy, was implemented this summer with the goal of producing approximately 197,000 kWh’s of power per year, and offsetting more than 2.5 million pounds of CO2 each decade. After the first two months in production, the system is yielding over 120% of the forecasted results. John Sanny, VP of Engineering at STS, said “We are thrilled with the results after the first two months. The power production is higher and the financial savings are stronger than we had anticipated.” STS President, Lynn Bennett, added “This initiative was a key ingredient to Streamline’s environmental stewardship strategy and our bottom-line profitability. Our clients, partners, and employees are already recognizing the financial and environmental impacts of this capital investment. The team at Circular Energy was able to effectively lead us in achieving these goals in a very reasonable time frame.”

Circular Energy was engaged late last year by STS to identify ROI-positive opportunities that met Streamline’s strategic and environmental objectives. Through their rapid improvement methodology, Circular Energy was able to recommend a number of projects to help Streamline attain their goals.
