The all American muscle car features the new 6.1-liter SRT HEMI V8 engine that has the most horsepower of any engine ever offered in the Challenger till date. It produces an impressive 425 HP and 420 lb-ft torque, thanks to performance-oriented camshaft profiles and aggressively designed cylinder heads and intake and exhaust systems. Other changes made to the 6.1-liter SRT such as increased compression ratio, and a reinforced valve train allows the engine to perform at a higher RPM.

The 5.7-liter HEMI V8 is available with Multi-Displacement System (MDS) and brings more power and optimal performance with the help of Variable Cam Timing, and dual ignition to increase peak power and torque.
