Synetec Delivers Again - Excel Consultancy Projects
Our team of Excel Developers has developed two separate solutions to two different problems both using Microsoft Excel as a basis for each application.
Firstly for a boutique London asset management firm, Synetec developed an application that used Bloomberg's Desktop API and DDE products along with VBA and Microsoft Excel to provide live pricing information and calculate intra-day performance for the client's portfolios.
This application integrates with our client's existing software packages, automatically querying the accounting application for holdings information which were then loaded and linked to the pricing feed.

Our second project was developed for 100% Bamboo (www.100bamboo.com), a distributor and retailer of high quality bamboo linen. Synetec developed a stock taking application using MS Excel with VBA. The application can generate both tabular and graphical reports of stock information, warn when stock levels are low, calculate required stock orders; and by querying remote web-services check the status of existing orders
