New office for Avantis Energy in Melbourne, Australia
The Avantis Group, based in Hong Kong, with a strong development base in Germany, is active in the major wind markets around the world and closed the gap in the Pacific region by establishing the new office in Melbourne. Avantis Energy´s CEO Klaus Bodenstein states: “We are pleased to announce the launch of our Australian office. The entrance into this particular market which has such a big potential will play a significant role for the further development of the company.”
Avantis Energy is close to winning its first project in Australia and plans to set up an assembly plant in Australia by mid 2012.
Avantis´ family of turbines feature gearless direct drive machines with permanent magnet generators, delivering high energy efficiency with reduced losses and greater reliability and availability for turbine operators.
Besides the Melbourne office, Avantis has offices in Germany, the US, Hong Kong, Brazil, Vietnam and South China and has a Joint Venture with the Yinhe Group in Beihai, Guangxi along with other Joint Ventures and co-operations.
