New Service Takes the Pain Out of the Event Planning Process

EventNow is a free, easy-to-use service that helps consumers hire vendors for their next event. The service saves consumers time and money by connecting them, free of charge, to qualified vendors competing to fulfill the user’s event request(s).

When planning a midsize or big event (wedding, company event or concert) a consumer typically seeks 6-8 different vendors. The process of finding the right vendors can be frustrating and a time consuming process that can take days to complete. Thanks to Event Now’s redesign and matching algorithm, the pain is taken out of the process by matching consumers to local event vendors in just a few short minutes. Within minutes of submitting their project details, consumers are contacted via email and/or phone with professionals that have confirmed their interest and availability. Portfolio Galleries, Reviews, Ratings and Feedback on matched vendor profiles assist consumers with making an informed decision.

As it moves out of Beta, the new interface includes a simpler and streamlined 3 step registration process for consumers submitting service requests, the ability to submit a service request as a registered member or as a guest, multiple vendor categories which allow consumers to efficiently submit multiple service requests, improved account features for both Consumer and Vendors and a new content section with articles, tips & news about events/parties.

EventNow launched its beta version in April 2010 and since then has been has signed up vendors in NY and LA and has a pre-populated database of 445,000 event vendors.
