TELES releases end-to-end SIP trunking solution
Latest C5 software release expands to include complete end-to-end SIP trunking, leveraging the complete TELES product portfolio
TELES, the Berlin based Next Generation Networks and Access Gateway vendor has announced release 3.6 of its Class 5 software, adding a host of features and functions which enable full end-to-end SIP trunking so that providers can now seamlessly and transparently incorporate their PBX trunking customers and enable a clear and easy integration and migration to cloud-based telephony services.
The latest version of TELES software now supports the full integration of an enterprise PBX to a TELES Class 5 softswitch for trunking, whilst adding value with numerous services such as FMC for homeworkers which does not require enterprises to replace legacy PBX equipment thanks to ISDN replacement and emulation of all major ISDN supplementary services.
TELES Product Marketing Director, Thomas Haydn, describes the new release as one of the most groundbreaking updates so far: "Release 3.6 is about SIP trunking and what we call the Single Pipe to the Cloud, where all voice and data communications are ultimately transported via the data cloud. Enterprises can now gain access to the full range of communications services, whilst providers and carriers will now have the potential to exploit their customer base by up-selling to PBX customers, also placing these customers on the path towards full cloud-based unified communications."
Release 3.6 plays a key role in seamlessly combining TELES products right across the board from access gateways (such as the TELES VoIPBOX series) in conjunction with an enterprise PBX, through C5 with full user and feature management, and then to the interconnect server with the full spectrum of protocols for IP and TDM interconnectivity: "We are in a unique position of being able to supply carriers and service providers with an end-to-end solution that avoids complex compatibility problems," states Thomas Haydn. "This means that they will reap the benefits of a solution which is reliable and stable, and they will also profit from time-saving access gateway zero touch provisioning which will help to reduce operating costs dramatically."
Amongst the new functionalities now available on TELES Class 5 NGN Softswitch for the IP Centrex are call feature enhancements, many usability improvements, and a number of provisioning and service portal extensions. "In combination with other TELES products, an even higher level of functionality is available," adds Thomas Haydn, "All major ISDN supplementary services can now be exchanged via the TELES end-to-end solution which allows a complete migration of legacy ISDN equipment and a seamless integration of this equipment into an 'all-IP' based core network."
TELES provides worldwide wireline and wireless telephony service providers with complete Class 4 and Class 5 Softswitch solutions, VoIP gateways, and mobile gateways for GSM, CDMA, and UMTS networks. We at TELES are proud of our successful track record having deployed more than 200 live carrier and service provider networks with millions of voice ports.
