Microbiologists receive a personal invite from James Drinkwater to attend Pharmaceutical Microbiology East Coast Conference 2019

The conference has been designed to address the unique needs of pharmaceutical microbiologists and interdisciplinary scientists involved in manufacturing. The 2nd Annual East Coast Microbiology Conference will also provide excellent opportunities to network, interact, exchange, as well as learn from industry experts and professionals from around the world.
The latest edition to the pharmaceutical microbiology conference series will feature an exciting agenda that encompasses a wide variety of issues that microbiologists work in partnership to overcome. Microbial control challenges are a major theme of this year's event, focusing on how microbiologists work together to solve highly complex problems; develop contamination control and exploring rapid microbial methods; in addition to sterility assurance and risk mitigation for mycoplasma and animal sera.
Day 1 will open with a keynote from Cheryl Essex, Head of Biologics Microbiological Control at Sanofi. Cheryl’s keynote will include the revision of Annex 1 and the impact on pharmaceutical microbiology control and monitoring.
Day 2 will navigate the progress and challenges in the design and clinical development of microbial therapies by Shahram Lavasani, CEO at Immune Biotech AB. You will also be able to draw insight from case study on environmental mold isolation in a controlled manufacturing facility by Leslie Falco, Microbial Control Strategist at Pfizer.
In addition, delegates can attend the post-conference workshops on Mold Contamination Challenges hosted Microrite and Microbiological Control of GMPO using Vapour Phase Hydrogen Peroxide bio-decontamination, hosted by PHSS/Franz Ziel GmbH.
