Panels to explain new tax law changes for businesses
The first returns under the recent federal tax cuts are now due. The effects on individual filers are spelled out in the law, but it’s less clear what will happen to businesses. The Above Board Chamber of Florida is convening expert panels this month in Fort Myers and Naples to explain the changes and what business leaders need to do to prepare for them.Attorney Luis Insignares will serve as master of ceremonies for the panel that will speak during a luncheon meeting on Thursday, Jan. 10 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza on 13051 Bell Tower Drive in Fort Myers. He’ll be joined by the following tax professionals:
· Kevin Alan Kyle, tax attorney for Green Schoenfeld & Kyle LLP.
· Lynn Rasnake, tax manager at Markham Norton Mosteller Wright & Company, P.A.
· Shannon Holland, associate vice president of investments at Raymond James.
