Dallas' Sayles Werbner Honored in U.S. News & World Report "Best Law Firms" List
DALLAS – The Dallas trial law firm Sayles Werbner PC has been recognized as one of the city’s leading firms for white-collar criminal defense law and general commercial litigation in the first-ever "Best Law Firms" rankings published by U.S. News & World Report.The exclusive listing of top U.S. law firms appears in the October 2010 edition of U.S. News & World Report and at USNews.com.
"The U.S. News recognition of our work is important because it’s derived from the opinions of law firm clients and lawyers who compete against our firm,” says Richard Sayles, co-founder of Sayles Werbner. “Our firm works hard every day to skillfully represent our clients in court, and sometimes to keep them out of court in the first place.”
The “Best Law Firms” list is based on more than a year of research and interviews with nearly 10,000 law firm clients and more than 8,000 attorneys who were asked to name those firms they view as the best in the nation. The survey included every Fortune 100 company, and the majority of those listed in the Fortune 1000.
In addition to the “Best Law Firms” recognition, Mr. Sayles and fellow firm co-founder Mark Werbner have earned numerous honors in 2010. Along with other firm attorneys, both were recognized in the Texas Super Lawyers list in Texas Monthly magazine, where Mr. Sayles was named one of the Top 10 attorneys in the state.
Earlier this year, the Texas Chapters of the American Board of Trial Advocates (TEX-ABOTA) selected Mr. Sayles at the 2010 Trial Lawyer of the Year. Mr. Werbner previously earned the same honor, and both attorneys also have been recognized in D Magazine’s guide to the “Best Lawyers in Dallas,” Lawdragon’s “500 Leading Lawyers in America,” and The Best Lawyers in America.
