Local Tuxedo Company Awards College Scholarships to Five High School Students

The five recipients are:
-Tyler Hummel, Yankton High School, Yankton, SD
-Atimma Eyo, Technical High School, St. Cloud, MN
-Christopher Waind, Red River High School, Grand Forks, ND
-Nicholas Hofmeyer, East High School, Sioux City, IA
-Matthew Buescher, Lincoln Pius X, Lincoln, NE
Each recipient was presented with a scholarship for $500. Tip Top Tux developed the scholarship program as a way to give back to the community and promote education to local high school seniors. Every graduating senior had the opportunity to apply for one of five $500 College Scholarships.
Tip Top Tux stands by its commitment to give back to the community. Keith Ladsten, owner of Tip Top Tux said, “I’ve been in the formalwear business working with high school students for over twenty-five years. It is truly an honor to be able to assist high school students with the next step in their lives! We’re a local business trying to do our part by giving back to the communities we serve. We will continue this scholarship program and hope to award ten high school seniors in 2011. ”
