Boonton, NJ - For the second half of 2010 the Millennium SpaSalon software advertising strategy is headed in a different direction. Millennium will be honoring six beauty industry icons that have truly changed the industry in a positive way. In their 2010 campaign Millennium will feature clients Joel Warren, Edward Tricomi, Ted Gibson, John Paul DeJoria, Robert Cromeans, and Carmen DePasquale. The first ad will display all the icons together and is slated to hit the first week in May.

The idea behind the concept is to inspire beauty professionals everywhere to be their best. Millennium wants you to remember how you got here, whether you’ve just graduated or have been behind a chair for 15 years and use that drive to get where you deserve to be. In these difficult times it may be easy to forget about your dreams and aspirations. “Do you ever feel burnt out or like you’re just going through the motions? It’s very easy to become complacent and mediocre, so we say, don’t just be... be legendary, be beautiful, be honorable, be inspirational, and be unstoppable!” says President John Harms. Millennium felt those five words best described each icon and believes that beauty professionals everywhere should strive to be great in some way. Millennium is hoping the campaign will motivate beauty professionals to be the Ted Gibson or Robert Cromeans of their salons.

As the campaign rolls out the honorees will be featured individually. Each icon will speak to a “be” word that describes them and give readers insight on their philosophy and inspiration. “Now is the time to make noise in your industry. Be a leader and go after your dreams. With hard work and drive you too can inspire others. This is your time. Be it now!” says Marketing Manager, Jennifer Martinelli.”

When the ads start hitting in May Millennium will launch www.harms-software.com/be. Here you will find additional information about each icon and other “be” stories from stylists across America.
