SourceAnywhere for VSS 6.0 Is All About User Experience

VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwire - September 15, 2010) - Today Dynamsoft announced the release of a major version of its SourceAnywhere for VSS, a Visual SourceSafe (VSS) remote and cross platform access solution recommended by Microsoft.
As a Visual SourceSafe add-on, SourceAnywhere for VSS is designed with client-server architecture to solve the VSS security, slowness and platform issues. It provides fast, reliable and secure remote access to VSS 6.0 and VSS 2005 and now serves in day-in day-out lives of over ten thousands of users, including IBM, Intel, HP, etc.

The latest update, SourceAnywhere for VSS 6.0, is all about better user experience. The user interface is revamped. It comes with five featured skin styles, including SourceSafe, Ribbon, XP, Vista and iTunes. Also, the layout is fully customizable with dockable, floating, hide and auto hide windows. Meanwhile, the toolbars and menu bars can be personalized. In one word, every user can now build his personal favorite UI with several mouse clicks.
The new version is far more than just a bling UI. It adds support for uniPaaS and Dreamweaver CS5. The MSSCCI Plug-in is faster and more powerful. Integration with Visual Studio is also optimized. All brings new and enhanced user experience.
Furthermore, the VSS Client brings other practical new features. The latest release imitates the Share behaviour of VSS and allows sharing a historical version of a project. With modeless dialog boxes, users can see simultaneous history explorer, search results, and project listings all at once.
