University of Michigan Science Symposium Honoring Professor William I. Higuchi

September 23, 2010—Ann Arbor, MI. The University of Michigan, College of Pharmacy, will be hosting a symposium titled “Physical Chemistry in the Age of Molecular and Cellular Biology,” October 14-16, 2010 that honors former Michigan faculty member Professor William I. Higuchi. Higuchi is a Distinguished Professor of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry at The University of Utah and currently serves as chairman of Salt Lake City, UT based drug delivery companies, Lipocine Inc. and Aciont Inc.

The symposium will bring together friends, colleagues and former students to celebrate achievements and recent developments in physical pharmaceutical chemistry interfacing with trends in biologics and biological chemistry.
