Plumbclick Comment on the Changes for Gas Boiler Procedures
Essex, United Kingdom (17 September, 2010) – Plumbclick, a leading online plumbing, heating and bathroom supplies retailer, comment on the UK regulation changes for gas boiler procedures and the benefits of fitting Band A boilers in the home.Plumbclick understand that due to changes in Part L of UK building regulations, plumbers will no longer be legally allowed to fit Band B condensed boilers from October 1st 2010. However, if an order was taken before this date then they can continue to be installed until April 2011.
The changes in building regulations are due to the development of Band A boilers which have proven to be more efficient. The new Band A boiler offers flexibility in its positioning and flueing; therefore it is a more attractive and effective water heating system for modern living. Plumbclick encourage any plumber who is dependent on installing Band B condensed boilers currently to seek advice and attend a manufacturing training course to enable a smooth transition when the new regulations come into play.
