The Lanier Law Firm Highlighted Among Best Law Firms in Houston
HOUSTON – The Lanier Law Firm, one of the nation’s premier trial law firms, has been singled out by U.S. News & World Report and The Best Lawyers in America as one of the top law firms in Houston.The firm earned a spot on the Metropolitan Tier 1 rankings for Houston in the 2010 “Best Law Firms” rankings released today. The listing recognizes the top law firms in 81 practice areas across 171 metropolitan areas.
The Lanier Law Firm is highlighted on the inaugural listing of the country’s leading law firms based on its work representing plaintiffs in mass tort litigation and class actions.
To compile the listing of the country’s top law firms, researchers from U.S. News and Best Lawyers surveyed more than 9,000 law firm clients and nearly 2,000 law firms. The results of the “Best Law Firms” survey will appear in a stand-alone publication released in October 2010, and is available online at http://bestlawfirms.usnews.com/.
This marks the latest honor for the firm and its founder, Mark Lanier, who most recently was recognized as one of the nation’s top attorneys in the 2011 edition of The Best Lawyers in America. Mr. Lanier also was honored earlier this year in The National Law Journal’s listing of “The Decade’s Most Influential Lawyers” and highlighted by Texas Lawyer newspaper among “The 25 Greatest Texas Lawyers of the Past Quarter-Century.”
