GL Solutions Partners with Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services
Bend, Oregon — December 17, 2018 — GL Solutions proudly announces the company’s recently awarded contract with the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (VA DBHDS) Office of Licensing, to provide the agency’s new Web-based licensing system. The contract culminates a 19-month formal procurement effort. GL Solutions will implement GL Suite, the company’s highly configurable commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software solution, to drive both the internal and public-facing components of the new licensing system.
Virginia, through the DBHDS Office of Licensing, licenses providers that provide treatment, training, support and habilitation to: individuals with mental illness, intellectual disabilities, or substance abuse disorders; those receiving services under the Individual and Family Developmental Disabilities Support Waiver; or to individuals receiving services in residential facilities for individuals with brain injuries.
The new Web-based licensing system includes initial applications, license renewals, and modifications capabilities, as well as inspections, complaints and incident tracking. GL Suite software will increase the agency staff’s efficiency across licensing activities, enhancing customer service for providers, improving consistency in work activities and helping track agency compliance with Olmsted ruling’s requirements for licensing and provider monitoring.
