With a recent study released by the American Cancer Society a glimmer of hope comes along with it. The American Cancer Society has found that over the last 20 years three-quarters of a million deaths have been prevented. This in large part has been done by the funds raised from Relay for Life events and the millions of heroic individuals that organize and hold these events and fundraisers.
Relay for Life is held by the America Cancer Society and has been hosting it for over 25 years. Relay for Life is an event that brings together families and friends whose lives have been affected by this disease. Relay for Life is a chance to celebrate the lives for those that have battled cancer, remember those that have been lost due to the disease, as well as fight back against the disease to help prevent future loss and help find a cure for the cause.
Carson Dental is a proud supporter of the Relay for Life, making yearly donations for the cause. In 2010 alone, Carson Dental, an online dental supply company that provides dental supplies to the dental industry, has donated $5,000 for the cure. Carson Dental is a dedicated supporter and is empathic of those families and friends who have been affected by this unfortunate disease.

It’s easy to do and fundraising done by even small groups could be the contributing factor in saving someone’s life and in turn being someone’s hero.
