EMS’ Innovative Simulation Technology Advances Education at St. Philip’s College
(Exton, PA, September 3, 2010) – St. Philip’s College (SPC), a member institution of the Alamo Community College District, has selected Education Management Solutions’ (EMS) simulation software to manage their state-of-the-art Nursing/Allied Health Complex (NAHC) in San Antonio.EMS’ simulation application will provide a range of benefits to streamline and enhance SPC’s simulation training program from participant, room, and equipment scheduling, to automated notifications of scheduled sessions and lab inventory management. Automated skills evaluation, scoring, and the ability to generate longitudinal reports are seen by faculty as key advantages provided by EMS’ software.
SPC has one of the oldest and largest nursing programs in Texas, as well as the highest rank in LVN licensing exam pass rates among community colleges. High credentialing passing rates set standards of excellence that SPC looks to maintain and exceed.
