Unversal O-Negative Liver and Bone Marrow Donor Now Avaialbe For A Canadian Child In Need
VODI has located a healthy universal organ donor for a Canadian child whose doctor can certify the need for transplant to be critical. Their legal guardian or doctor should call us during normal working hours at 905-891-1981 for initial screening. The donor resides in Ontario and if transplant takes place outside of Ontario, tranposrtation must be provided. Donor is healthy and 0-Negative blood type. Tissue typing has already been sompleted and donor is available on 72 hours advance notice. Please - no media inquiries. The donor wishes to remain anonymous. Race, religion, financial status nor political affiliations are a consideration. Donor simply insists that the recipient is a child. Details are avaialble by calling a volunteer staffer Monday through Friday.Veteran Organ Donors International is a non-profit organization staffed by volunteers that focuses on improving the medical attention provided to child victims of military conflict and wars without regard to race, religion. economic status, nor political beliefs.
