International IT Services Provider, FDM Group, has capitalised on the growing popularity of social networking sites by recruiting six trainees into the FDM Academy through Facebook.
As one of the UK’s largest IT graduate employers, FDM will be recruiting 500 graduates onto their award-winning Master Class Programme, giving them the opportunity to directly engage and interact with online audiences and potential candidates as a valuable part of their global recruitment strategy across the UK, Europe and USA.
When searching for employment and work groups, FDM generally features on the first page, which is due to the daily interaction between the 500 members currently in the ‘FDM IT Academy’ group. Influential networking sites such as Facebook continue to bring in referrals for FDM, which stands as their second largest source of recruitment from graduates seeking information online.
Catherine Cheek, Recruitment Operations Manager, comments: ‘FDM Academy is experiencing unprecedented growth and we are subsequently investigating new, innovative ways of ensuring that graduates are aware of our unique Programme and the opportunities it provides.
