The "Progress in Freedom" Society, Germany, sharply criticises the claims of the UN climate conference COP24, which will be held until 14 December 2018 in Katowice/Poland.

Breaking News

The "Progress in Freedom" Society, Germany, organized a two-day conference on 30 November and 1 December 2018 in Frankfurt/Main. In lectures given, the lack of a scientific basis for alleged connection between anthropogenic carbon dioxide emissions and climate change was thoroughly discussed. Among others, the physicist Dr. Ralf D. Tscheuschner (Hamburg) held a lecture based on joint work with his colleague Prof. Dr. Gerhard Gerlich (Technical University of Braunschweig). The subject: "CO2: pseudoscience-ideology-politics." Tscheuschner's conclusion: "There are no atmospheric CO2 greenhouse effects within the framework of physics. Hence, there is no CO2 problem. Climate policy and especially climate change mitigation are based on superstitious beliefs and not on science." says Tscheuschner.

Consequently, the "Progress in Freedom" Society, Germany sharply criticizes the Paris 1.5 degree target and the CO2 narrative as unscientific, anti-economic and anti-social. The members of the society recommend that more critics of the climate ideology are being heard in public debates. Skilled climate realists are not afraid to engage in controversial discussions with representatives of the mainstream.

Background for the editor

The association Fortschritt in Freiheit e.V. was founded at the end of 2014 and entered in the association register in Cologne in April 2015. He is recognized by the tax office Cologne as a non-profit.

The association advocates the defense of freedom, democracy and the rule of law as well as sound economic growth as the basis for the well-being of the entire population. He promotes civic engagement to pursue these goals. (Excerpt from the guidelines of the association: www.fortschrittinfreiheit.de/index.php/ueber-uns/leitlinien)

The association has meanwhile (as of May 2018) over 100 members in the entire German-speaking area. In addition, relevant competent scientists, analysts and publicists could be recruited as advisory boards.

The chairman is the former entrepreneur Hannelore Thomas.

Dr. Patrick Moore the former greenpeace-founder is a member of the society.
