Press release from: PrintCarrier

/ PR Agency: PrintCarrier.com
Southampton: In co-operation with the children relief organisation World Vision, PrintCarrier.com is supporting poor children and their families in Mongolia by helping to finance ten new homes. PrintCarrier will be collecting funds for this major donation from 1st December 2006 until 8th of April 2007 to make the project a huge success. Thanks to this project, many children and families in urgent need will receive a fully equipped traditional home. For most of these families this may now just be a dream, but it will become true soon - with your help.

For each new customer, PrintCarrier.com will donate the equivalent of 2 Euros to World Vision. Moreover, PrintCarrier’s staff will work over-time and spend an extra hour’s wage to make this story an even greater success. Clients, visitors – anyone may want to make a money transfer by visiting PrintCarrier.com for more information. "From the beginning, living social responsibility - not only speaking about it - has been very imporant to me," confirms Guenter Makowski, who founded PrintCarrier.com in 2004. Not only customers and employees in each country (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Great-Britain, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland) support the project but also business partners, suppliers and friends. For further information, call the free hotline at 0800 901 29 52. By Easter 2007, PrintCarrier.com will donate the complete amount to World Vision.

World Vision
Over 23,000 people are currently active for World Vision in 96 countries. Its focus is the support of children and their families in their battle against poverty and injustice, as well as humanitarian help for victims of natural disasters. In Mongolia, every third person suffers from extreme poverty. World Vision has been active not only in fast expanding urban but also in rural areas, which have higher rates of homeless children.

PrintCarrier.com
PrintCarrier was founded in 2004 by Guenter Makowski. After finishing his Abitur in Germany and completing two degrees in business administration (in London and at the French Grande Ecole "ESSEC" in Paris), he initially joined PriceWaterhouseCoopers' office in Frankfurt. During his studies and work placements abroad (in China, Hungary, France and the UK), PrintCarrier’s idea grew in his mind. How to market a universal product that everyone needs? Producing and delivering print products (flyers, business cards, leaflets) in DIN-formats (GIBT's DAS IN UK?) should be a win-win-situation for both customer and PrintCarrier. Quick turnaround times and reliable service are ensured by a highly developed logistical system. “Our most valuable asset is our staff”, says Makowski “who are highly motivated to go the extra mile that makes all the difference. High-quality products, professionalism and reliable delivery times are part of our long-term customer relationship concept“, said Günter Makowski at a meeting for customers and employees in October 2006. “Our vision is to become market leader in for print-on demand in Europe. PrintCarrier.com is already established in Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Italy, Austria, Spain and Switzerland.

Southampton: “From the start, it was very important for me to take on social responsibility“, said the young entrepreneur Günter Makowski, who founded PrintCarrier.com in 2004. Collaboration with World Vision Deutschland e.V. came about in November last year when the company was looking for a German-based company that organised internationally oriented aid projects and thus, at the end of the day, represented an approach similar to that of PrintCarrier.com itself.
