The Strangest Contest in the World.
If you play, others win.

This holiday season, The Abrahamic Reunion is running a contest where the winners are your competitors. You actually can’t win for yourself - but yet you do.

The Abrahamic Reunion is dedicated to promoting peace in the world, so they’ve devised a contest to spread the message. The way the contest works is that people compete in two categories. People can write a short story about what peace means to them. And others can design a graphic that symbolizes peace.

The stories will be submitted on the site. And you guessed it, the prize is to be listed in the stories that are made public. So the world wins as the stories are meant to inspire people to think, act and empower peace in the world.

Yes, it’s self-serving for an organization about peace, to get others to write about peace for the whole world to benefit from. Sure seems unfair ... until you realize that disharmony costs us so much more in life.

"This is noble work and the Abrahamic Reunion has the ambitious goal of peace between all religions,” Malcolm Stern said. “May their work continue to spread the message of harmony in a world that is so much in need of it"

Most non-profits and Charities would hire writers to script stories about peace. But getting people to write stories from their experience is so much more powerful. With no compensation to offer, The Abrahamic Reunion holds a contest with no prizes, no fame, and no cash. Except the prize that everyone, who values peace, can lend their voice to the world.

Not everyone wants to set-up a blog and post about peace. Yet many people have stories that will resonate with readers and help spread the message. The Abrahamic Reunion England site is becoming the host for these important stories.

“The work of the Abrahamic Reunion was never more needed than now,” Lord Hylton stated. “Remember the Alexandria Declaration which united the three great faiths, to demand ceasefires and genuine negotiations for a comprehensive peace. Public opinion on all sides must be mobilized for this purpose.”

Writers are not the only ones being asked to submit work to help spread peace. Designers are also able to contribute. Graphic designers can submit art which could be used for member-based t-shirts to support the fund-raising efforts of the site. We are bombarded with lots of symbols of war. The organization feels that, when there are more symbols of peace, we all become more peaceful, and peace may win over war in our culture.

Once again, the only compensation offered are boasting rights and a featured shirt design. The gift shop offers ways for people to contribute, since all profits are used to support the work of the charity. This blends three things the charity needs – stories of what peace means to its readers, designs that are a visual representation of peace, and a way to support the organization financially.

Many non-profit organizations close off contribution by limiting how people can contribute - by giving money. The Abrahamic Reunion England is giving people with a story, or an artistic expression of peace, a way to contribute.

Letting people contribute to peace in their own way is the real point of the contest. Everyone really wins.

Visit to participate.
We demonstrate ways in which different faiths can and are working together to promote interfaith harmony. This includes presentations at schools, universities, places of worship, and private homes. We place special emphasis on our presentations and workshops at prisons.
