Press release from: Ontario Solar Provider

TORONTO, ONTARIO, August 9, 2010. Ontario Solar Provider Inc. (OSP) is hosting multiple information sessions across Ontario. The open houses are free of charge and aim to educate on the benefits of solar PV, and the FIT and microFIT programs that were initiated by the OPA last year. In addition, the open houses will be an opportunity to meet OSP’s installation, development and financing team and learn more about the company’s global experience and successful track record in installing grid-tied solar PV systems.

OSP’s green goal is to bring the same successes experienced in Germany in the renewable energy sector to Ontario in a commercially attractive way. The company heavily promotes green energy and sees it as instrumental to educate potential clients and the public on all benefits and issues related to solar PV in Ontario, as well as highlight the financial benefits of the FIT program. OSP is also able to advise on their experience with Ontario’s FIT program as compared to the European and US models.

Participation is free and informal. Visitors can drop by on the day of the event between 4pm and 7pm for a conversation with OSP’s experienced PV installers and development professionals. For more information regarding the event(s), or to speak to an OSP team member, please send an email to or call 1-888-989-4677 (Ext. 8).
