INTERNATIONAL ARTS ORGANIZATION RAW: NATURAL BORN ARTISTS LAUNCHES IN MEXICO

Los Angeles (USA) -- After showcasing artists in 70 cities across the US, Canada, Australia and the UK, RAW: natural born artists will open doors in Mexico for the first time. Mexico City will host the inaugural event. The premiere showcase is titled RAW: Mexico City presents OVACIÓN and will take place on November 28, 2018 at The Warehouse. The showcase will feature over 50 hand-selected emerging artists across 9 creative categories: visual art, photography, performance art, hair, makeup, film, music, fashion, and accessories. It’s a one night celebration of creativity, unlike anything else!

The night will open to a pop-up art gallery, where patrons can view the inspired work of their talented local community and are welcome to make purchases. The gallery will remain open all evening. There will also be a "living art gallery" that boasts dramatic hair and makeup artistry on live models. Musicians and performing artists will take the stage throughout the evening. The showcase will close with a runway fashion show featuring wares from local designers.

RAW’s mission is to provide tools, resources, education and exposure to independent artists. Believing that every artist deserves the right to be seen, heard and loved, RAW executes this notion by hosting showcase events that present indie artists to their local community, as well as the world at large. OVACIÓN will be the first of ongoing quarterly showcases in Mexico City, organized by RAW Artists and RAW: Mexico Showcase Director, Jose Cuervo, spotlighting local rising talent.

Notes: 18+ event. Tickets are $200 MXN online in advance and $350 MXN at the door.
