Softweb Solutions Earns ISO 9001:2008 Certification
Softweb Solutions has been awarded ISO 9001:2008 Certification for adherence with strict quality management standardsChicago, Illinois, July 7, 2010 - Softweb Solutions, Inc., a provider of IT solutions and services, announced today the coveted achievement of International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2008 Certification. The certification further demonstrates the organization’s commitment to provide quality services and consistent improvement.
ISO 9001:2008 is an international quality management standard. It demonstrates a company’s ability to deliver products and services that meet regulatory requirements and have a well-planned quality management system. The certification validates a quality management system that promises customer satisfaction from effective implementation of the system. Additionally, the certification confirms an organization’s solid foundation for consistent improvement through data use and analysis.
To ensure that the ISO initiatives are carried out well and quality improvement is continuous, United Registrar Services confirmed the company’s compliance with the new ISO 9001:2008 standards. The audit evaluated all areas of Softweb Solutions’ operations – from application development and design to delivery and services. It resulted in the company achieving ISO 9001:2008 standards with flying colors.
“The second certification has significant revisions compared to the first,” said Ripal Vyas, CEO of Softweb Solutions. “It demonstrates the fundamental and ongoing commitment to quality that Softweb Solutions has adhered to since its inception. The latest certification is an extension of Softweb Solutions’ original ISO 9001:2000 certification. The organization was awarded the ISO 9001:2000 certification in August 2008, and has since kept up with stringent requirements and quality standards.
