Lucy Delaney, Ednaston Park's new business centre manager

Lucy Delaney has been appointed business centre manager of the new Ednaston Park managed workspace scheme, located off the A52 between Derby and Ashbourne.

Lucy has a vast amount of experience in the business incubation and support sector and her brief is to offer a professional concierge service and establish a strong business community, which encourages collaboration and networking between tenants.

She was student employment agency co-ordinator at Derby University, before spending six years as a business broker at Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce, where she supported businesses to access training, funding and specialist business advice.

She ran a student internship programme at Keele University before being appointed business development manager at Keele University Science & Business Park where she worked for five years.

During this period, she was responsible for attracting and retaining tenant businesses across the four Innovation Centres. She also managed the creation and operation of a business incubation centre for early-stage businesses and a specially designed Business Growth Programme. She holds a SFEDI accreditation for business advice.

Commenting on Lucy’s appointment, Andrew Bock, director at Clowes Developments, said:

“We’re thrilled to welcome Lucy to the CWC Group; her enthusiasm and experience in both managed workspace and business incubation will make her a tremendous asset to Ednaston Park.

“She is currently preparing Ednaston Park for our official launch and the arrival of our first landmark tenants at the end of the month.”

Speaking about her new role, Lucy added:

“Being appointed business centre manager for Ednaston Park is the perfect post for me. Over the years I’ve gained lots of experience in property management, business support and partnership working and this role will allow me to use that experience to help smaller businesses.”

“I’m on hand to make our tenants feel welcome and provide them with the support they need to help their businesses thrive.

“I’m sure that all the businesses that join us here will feel the same sense of pride that I do when they set foot on the grounds!”

Located off the A52 between Derby and Ashbourne, Ednaston Park is a magnificent period property dating back to the 19th Century. Developer CWC Group purchased the property in September 2017 and major refurbishments are currently underway to create modern office accommodation.

It comprises of 20,000 ft2 of flexible commercial space in the form of 32 hi-spec office suites ranging in size from 54 ft2 to 526 ft2, which will be available as single or multi-office lets, located across two stories.

It will be managed by CWC Group, who have recently relocated their headquarters to Ednaston Park from Brailsford Hall.

Two Open Days are being staged from 10am - 2pm on Monday 3rd and Tuesday 4th December to give potential tenants, neighbours and the local community the chance to visit Ednaston Park and see the results of the refurbishment programme.

Anyone interested in attending the Open Day, or finding out more about the space available at Ednaston Park should contact Lucy Delaney on 01335 360000 or email enquires@ednastonpark.co.uk
