Datamatics Global Services Appoints Shreedhara Shetty as President & Head, Global Sales

Shreedhara will provide leadership with strong focus on growing our Tier-1 accounts and on increasing the revenue earned per account.
•He will lead the sales team to open new accounts and grow existing accounts, strengthen sales processes and build strong customer relationships and customer centricity.

Datamatics Global Services Limited, provider of smart, next-generation solutions that address the business challenges of customers globally, has announced the appointment of Shreedhara “Shree” Shetty as President & Head – Global Sales. Shree will be reporting to Rahul Kanodia, Vice Chairman & CEO. He will be located at Mumbai.

Shree will provide leadership with strong focus on growing our tier-1 accounts and on increasing the revenue earned per account. He will lead the sales team to open new accounts and grow existing accounts. He will also strengthen sales processes and build strong customer relationships and maximize customer centricity.

Shreedhara’s most recent stint was as Head – Global Sales with Sasken Communication Technologies Ltd. Prior to that, he was the CEO & Managing Director with IVTL Infoview Technologies, Chennai. Before joining IVTL, Shreedhara spent 19 years stint with Wipro Technologies. At Wipro, where he joined as a project manager, he was regional manager based in Chicago and in Milwaukee. He returned to India from the US in mid-1995 to take charge as the Business Manager to develop business in Japan and Asia-Pacific. He successfully built the Japan business into a $35 million-per-year business by 2003.

Deputed to the UK in 2003 to focus and grow the telecom business, he was instrumental in growing it ten-fold in six years from $39 million to around $400 million.

In 2008, at Wipro, he was chosen to lead four of the top 10 global accounts in the telecom and IT product engineering sector, which accounted to $200 million annually.

Shree is a Bachelor of Science from Mysore University, Bachelor of Engineering from Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore and Post Graduate in Industrial Engineering from NITIE Mumbai. He has nearly 20 years of experience in Sales & Business Development.

In the past few months, Datamatics Global Services Limited has strengthened its management with the appointment of Ramkumar Akella as Chief Operating Officer, Ravindra Datar as Head, Global Marketing and Anand Subramanian and Ashok Muttin as Senior Vice Presidents, Finance & Accounts Sales.
