Enhanced Channel Program to Further Expand and Accelerate Go-to-market Strategy

NEW YORK – November 14, 2018 – Siemplify, the leading innovator in security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR), today announced the appointment of Bradd Barmettler as global head of channel. Mr. Barmettler will develop, execute, and manage the company’s strategic business plans relating to the overall channel partner ecosystem (i.e. value-added resellers, distributors, and consulting and system integrators), to successfully implement service offerings and generate additional value for partners.

Mr. Barmettler brings 20 years of engineering, sales, and channel experience in the network security space to his new role. Previously, Mr. Barmettler was director of channel sales at Carbon Black, responsible for driving $70M in channel sales of endpoint malware protection, EDR, and application control software across the Americas, and grew partner-initiated deals by 35% year over year. He also created and was responsible for North American channel and enablement programs and channel incentives.

“Siemplify has been working with the channel, but now is the time to fast track the program at a global scale,” said Miguel Carrero, chief revenue officer, Siemplify. “Bradd’s vast security experience, along with proven success in developing and implementing high-performing and fast-growing channel strategies, will help Siemplify further establish the strategic and tactical partner-focused foundations that will ultimately lead us to deliver meaningful value for partners.”

Prior to Carbon Black, Mr. Barmettler was partner development manager at Cisco, responsible for managing, training, and growing the channel relationships for the company’s top 18 security partners in the Southwest, totaling $75M in channel sales of next generation firewall and intrusion prevention, network access control, e-mail and web gateways, and anti-malware products.

“The SOAR market is booming, with significant opportunity for Siemplify in the channel and I am excited to help in its commitment to amplify its ‘partner first’ strategy,” said Barmettler. “Combining a market-leading SOAR platform with a value-added partner ecosystem will enhance the security operations for enterprise and MSSP customers alike.”

Mr. Barmettler’s extensive security industry experience also includes roles at Sourcefire, Symantec, Secure Computing, TippingPoint, Juniper Networks, and Network General/Network Associates.
