CADENAS Becomes a School Subject

Augsburg, June 30th 2010. The software manufacturer CADENAS GmbH in Augsburg supports over 300 universities and technical colleges in Europe. Since March 2010, a Croatian high school has been benefiting from CADENAS software solutions. The students of the technical high school are offered a course in which they are exposed to the strategic parts management system PARTsolutions and taught how to use the software eCATALOGsolutions in order to create electronic product catalogs.

CADENAS Software seamlessly integrates itself into the learning process

With the CADENAS software solutions, the prospective technicians learn how to construct parts, import 3-D parts into CAD systems, and then create the parts themselves afterwards. The students can thus directly put their theoretical knowledge to use and are ideally prepared for their future careers.

Wide range of products from well-known manufacturers

In order to further simplify construction for students, the software manufacturer from Augsburg has made 3-D CAD product data from over 300 manufacturers available for free on its online portal PARTeducation (http://parteducation.partcommunity.com). Students can easily access this wide repertoire of 3-D models and integrate them into their constructions. In addition, the PARTeducation portal offers students the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the product portfolios of manufacturers early on.
