Exclusive Savannah, GA Showing of Intelligent Lives
“Intelligent Lives” Documentary Film. Academy Award-winning actor and narrator Chris Cooper shares the emotional personal story of his son Jesse in a documentary from award-winning filmmaker Dan Habib. The film unpacks the shameful and ongoing history of intelligence testing in the U.S.A. as it follows the lives of three pioneering young adults with intellectual disabilities through high school, college, and the workforce.
Following the film, a panel of local disability rights advocates will discuss the film within the context of the Savannah local community The screening coincides with International Disability Rights Day which is December 3rd, 2018.
This event, which is free and open to the public, is presented by the law firm of Stone & Sullivan LLC and local special needs advocate Faye Montgomery.
