Report by Independent Research Firm Cites Aventail as a Leader With the Top Scores for Strongest Core SSL VPN Platform, Best Manageability, Best Mobility Features, and "Best Long-Term Strategy"

SEATTLE, WA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- December 11, 2006 -- Aventail Corporation announced today that a recently released Forrester Research report has declared Aventail a Leader for its best-of-breed SSL VPN solution. Titled "The Forrester Wave: SSL VPN Appliances, Q4 2006" (December 2006), this in-depth evaluation by Forrester pointed to Aventail´s solution as the one that "scores highest among all vendors on the core SSL VPN functionality" and provides "the best manageability," "the strongest solution for mobile devices," and "the best out-of-box solution."
