Nuremberg, Germany, November 2018 — Südwolle Group, leading spinner of pure wool and wool blend worsted yarns, is presenting some inspiring new products within its outdoor and functional yarns collection “Yarn in Motion”. These yarn qualities for circular knitting will be presented at Outdoor Retailer in Denver (8th-11th Nov) for the first time, followed by Performance Days (28th/29th Nov) and ISPO (3rd-6th Feb) in Munich.
This season’s focus for Yarn in Motion is on biodegradable products: Just like ants, which are an essential part of nature’s ecosystem and contribute to biodegradation by literally “shifting the earth”, also Merino blended yarns are an ecological solution for all those who are looking for materials that will not add to microplastic pollution.

Besides Sargassi Nm 52/1 that combines 80% Merino wool (21,5μ Naturetexx Plasma® treated) with 20% biodegradable polyamide, customers can choose from a wide range of other yarn qualities, which are fully biodegradable and renewable such as:
