“Even though I’m an ‘old dog’, I have to be sure that I stay on top of the newest marketing techniques in order to remain competitive,” says John McGinty, owner of Johnny Mac’s. “We have been using Facebook and Twitter and have been seeing a lot of success with those sites. We wanted to add another method of keeping our clients returning, so we are now adding text message marketing to our plan. With text message coupons we can deliver a message directly to our customers at the exact time we want to. We know they will read it, and best of all, it can go to just about anyone with a cell phone. They don’t need to be on a computer or have a ‘smart phone’ to get the message.”
