K12 Enterprise Adds Employee Self Service Portal

Baltimore, MD – June 15, 2010 – K12 Enterprise, Microsoft’s leading financial and human resource management software for K through 12 school systems, released its employee self service portal, providing school systems with better access to information, while significantly reducing paperwork. The employee self service portal is a web-based application that is easy to use and accessible to all employees in a school system. Employees can access their demographic information for verification purposes or to make changes, view their paychecks, update direct deposit instructions, access forms, and more. All change requests made online by an employee are routed through a sophisticated workflow engine for approval and eventual updating of the employee’s master record.

Their main goals are to provide employees with better access to information, while reducing administrative tasks in the school business office. K12 Enterprise’s workflow engine will also increase the accuracy of information and improve the district’s ability to monitor and approve updates.
