VEPRO Austria GmbH, Kärnten Wolfsberg

VEPRO AG, headquartered in Pfungstadt (Germany), is continuing to expand; on 15 May 2010 it opened a new branch in Austria. This increases the number of branches worldwide to six.

The goal of VEPRO Austria GmbH is to further develop its activities in Austria and to strengthen its presence there. With this step, VEPRO will be able to support its existing Austrian customers even better and more efficiently in the future, and to respond to their specific requests and wishes more quickly and flexibly. “This is the logical consequence of our recent successes in the Austrian health-care market,” says Harald G. Roth, President of VEPRO AG.

Furthermore, the IT service provider in the health-care sector will be able to focus on new customers in a more targeted way through its branch in Wolfsberg / Carinthia. In addition to clinics, this focus will also include doctors in private practice. Because of its high level of competence in this sector, VEPRO is able to offer an integrated solution portfolio tailored to the sector’s typical processes, consisting of PACS and VIS (RIS) as well as the corresponding services. With more than 4,000 installations worldwide, VEPRO has comprehensive experience and expertise in providing consultation, setup and implementation for solutions in clinics and practices. The VHP (VEPRO Health Portal) product also fulfils a variety of needs in the health-care market, from teleradiaology, telemedicine, telecommunications and the inclusion of referring physicians to patients’ personal health records.

“Particularly in Austria, our specialized knowledge is highly valued because the expectations for product quality and functionality are very similar to those of our customers in Germany. Thus our range of IT solutions, which we tailor to the respective customer or customer group, is in high demand here.”

In light of the positive business development in Austria, VEPRO expects its growth to double this year.
