Dharne & Co. redesigns website for St Cecilia’s Church
St Cecilia’s needed an easy to maintain website as a medium to provide information and to make announcements about its future events. The StCecilia.org site administrator needed direct access to the website to make changes like uploading documents and files without having to rely upon technical support.
Dharne & Co. migrated the entire database which included existing PDF files and a photo gallery to a newly programmed Joomla CMS website. The new website is hosted on a different server, the details of which were provided by the client. This gives the site administrator the rights to make any changes to the website an improvement over the earlier arrangement. Joomla CMS enables the site content to be modified in an easy manner. The administrator can now perform activities like uploading weekly bulletins, images and posting notices about upcoming events and news.
Dharne & Co also provided a blog to make the website more interactive. A subscription form enables site visitors to subscribe for email communications while a donation form enables easy payment. Google analytics code has been integrated with the site enabling the administrator to monitor website visitor traffic. The site is SEO friendly and designed according to the W3C standards. The redesigned site helps StCecilia.org to manage their online content in an easy and cost efficient manner.
