Poland: New and attractive wine market

Market analysis inclusive contact data about 130 wine retailers and importers launched by Poland Consulting Services

Jelenia Góra/Poland, 27th of November 2006 A long wine tradition as you can find in Germany, France or Italy does not exist in Poland, not even in the Poland's well-known wine growing areas. For many years it were cheap and low quality fruit wines which dominated the wine market in Poland.

But recently the demand of oenology and high quality grape wines has increased significantly in Poland. Sales and turnovers of Polish wine producers, retailers and importers have risen steadily during the last years. Hence, the wine supply becomes bigger and more international. As a consequence more and more shops are founded, which are specialised in wine trade. The assortment is either wider in regard of the quantity of international wines or deeper in regard of its quality. So the competition in Polish wine market increases currently.

The analysis “The wine market in Poland” offers the most important data about the Polish wine market and shows the significant features of the consumers' behaviour across the Polish population. Beside information about winegrowing you will find contact data of Polish wine producers. Furthermore the relation between imports and exports of wine is spotlighted in order to present a significant evaluation of the market developments.
By means of the analysing finding there are described promising investment opportunities.

The market analysis is complemented by an Excel file including the contact data of 130 important wine retailers and importers in Poland.
