Masy Systems Calibration Laboratory Receives NVLAP

Masy Systems in Pepperell, Massachusetts is NVLAP accredited for ISO/IEC 17025:2005 (NVLAP Lab Code 200904-0)

Masy Systems, Inc. – April 29, 2010 – Masy Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce the accreditation of its calibration laboratory in Pepperell, Massachusetts to ISO 17025:2005 by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP code 200904-0).

“In receiving NVLAP accreditation, Masy continues to demonstrate its strong commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards and utilizing best practices within the calibration industry” stated Keith Kelly, VP of Quality.

NVLAP, a division of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and one of the most respected organizations in the world of metrology, performed an independent appraisal of Masy’s calibration laboratory and quality management system. NVLAP assessed Masy’s calibration competency through onsite audits and proficiency testing, and confirmed Masy met or exceeded all the requirements of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standard 17025, General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.
