European Cruiser Association awards best cruise route of the month June 2010 to Celebrity Cruises
The cruise route of June 2010 wins Celebrity Cruises with the cruis-ship Constellation with its indescribable Trip around Scandinavia.What could be more beautiful than to go on a Scandinavia cruise in early summer. Who has seen once the Norwegian fjords, the Geirangerfjord and the polar circle knows about what is spoken here. The cruise starts in Amsterdam and leads directly in the Alesund, then a direct way through up to the polar circle, to Tromso, Honningsvag, Molde, Geiranger, Olden, to Bergen and back to Amsterdam. It goes off on 21 June 2010.
Stefan Jaeger, president of EUCRAS, is quoted as saying: "A spectacular route with a luxurious ship, so this route has met our high quality expectations and really deserves our award".
The European Cruiser Association promotes the interests of the cruise participants and the crew complement of cruise ships and goes for progress in the cruise, above all in view of security, health and environment. The association serves by request of the partners as a mediator between consumers and the different lobbyists if it comes to conflicts. It promotes the interests of families, severely disabled persons and senior citizens with regard to the journeys on a cruise ship.
The association promotes above all the intercultural dialogue, the international disposition, the understanding among nations and the meeting of foreign countries by European tourists.
The association exercises advisory, co-ordinating functions and serves as a neutral, independent and apolitical platform. It offers free consumer consultation. Face to face with shipping companies it appears in advisory function and represents the interests of the travellers and the crew complement in view of security matters, disabled person's suitability and health. At this, it focuses its work on European countries but is also open to members worldwide.
