"I have spoken to several families in California and Texas who have seen a marked decline in the quality of education provision in their local state schools," commented Adam Caller, founder of Tutors International. "It's an evitable consequence of merging classes and decreasing the ratio of teachers to students. In some affluent areas of California, such as Malibu, there are very few private schools, especially at elementary school level.
