Munck Butrus Shareholder Honored As One of America's Leading Lawyers

DALLAS – Munck Butrus, P.C. co-founder William A. Munck has earned a spot among Lawdragon’s 500 Leading Lawyers in America.

Lawdragon is a quarterly publication and Web site focused on the legal industry. It publishes guides to the country’s top lawyers, and provides an online rating guide for attorneys. To compile the Leading Lawyers in America, the publication utilized online balloting and independent research involving interviews with thousands of lawyers nationwide. The list will be featured in the Fall 2006 issue, available in October.

No stranger to honors, Mr. Munck recently was named one of the top attorneys in the nation by the 2006 Chambers and Partners USA legal directory, an honor he has earned for three consecutive years. He also has been named a Texas Super Lawyer the last four years.

Mr. Munck is chairman of the firm’s Intellectual Property section, concentrating his practice in the field of information technology, including hardware, firmware, software and communications. He earned his J.D. with honors from the Hofstra University School of Law and also received his master’s and undergraduate degrees from Hofstra.
