SGS is one of the exhibitors at the 1st Borneo International Oil & Gas Conference & Exhibition (BOGCE) 2010. The two-day event takes place from May 7-8, 2010, in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. The services offered by SGS will be presented throughout the exhibition at booth numbers A2 and A15.

The 1st Borneo International Oil & Gas Conference & Exhibition (BOGCE) 2010 is one of the newest oil and gas events in the global calendar and provides an ideal opportunity to focus on the progress of the oil and gas industry across the region, known for its diversity and capacity for growth.

Organized by the Sabah Oil and Gas Contractor’s Association (SOGCA) and the Institute for Development Studies Sabah (IDS), the event will highlight the need to capitalize on current opportunities facing the regional and global energy industry while managing commercial, policy and environmental uncertainties.

Under the theme ‘Sharing opportunities in the Oil & Gas Industry’, the 1st Borneo International Oil & Gas Conference & Exhibition (BOGCE) 2010 will focus on providing a better perspective on current developments within the regional oil and gas industry, highlighting key issues that have a significant impact on the resources, environment, industry and its economic links with other business activities as well as showcasing advanced oil and gas production technologies and machineries from companies around the region.

The two-day event provides a perfect opportunity for SGS to forge new business partnerships and present its wide portfolio of services for the oil, gas and petrochemical industry, including advanced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Storage Tank Inspection, Supply Chain, Crane Inspection and Inspection of Hoisting and Lifting Equipment as well as certification and recertification.
