Polystar joins Network Test Automation Forum
Polystar T&M, a major supplier of testing solutions to operators and mobile network manufacturers, announced today that it is joining the newly formed Network Test Automation Forum (NTAF). NTAF is an industry-driven forum consisting of service providers, network equipment manufacturers and test equipment vendors, working together to facilitate and promote the interoperability of commercial testing tools and test infrastructure for the data communications and telecommunications industry.“NTAF is definitely a step in the right direction. Our customers use a combination of test automation solutions developed in-house and purchased from vendors. We can all benefit from common standards. This initiative will bring the test industry together in supplying our customers with network test automation specifications”, says Niklas Thorin, CEO, Polystar T&M.

The organization will bring together commercial testing vendors, test equipment vendors, and other industry experts to create interoperable testing solutions for service providers, network equipment manufacturers, and other enterprise organizations with large network deployments. The objectives of NTAF are:
Build consensus and unite service providers, network equipment manufacturers, and test equipment vendors on network test automation technical specifications and interoperability
Create, facilitate and enable the implementation of network test automation specifications.
Enhance market awareness of the benefits of interoperable network test automation.
