Air Canada chooses AVIAREPS as GSA for Italy

The airline representative increases its client portfolio by representing Air Canada also in the Italian market

Air Canada has decided to appoint AVIAREPS as General Sales Agent in Italy. With this appointment, AVIAREPS now represents Air Canada in Austria, Russia and Italy, thereby once again increasing its airline representation network. With immediate effect the AVIAREPS subsidiary in Milan will represent the Canadian national carrier in all marketing and sales activities with the primary aim to optimize the Rome – Toronto route, support the new Rome – Montreal route, and to develop business travel in the north of Italy. The responsible General Manager in Milan is Giulio Santoro. Besides the new client, AVIAREPS Italy substitutes yet a various number of airlines in the Italian market, for example Aer Lingus, Air Madagascar, BWIA, Condor and LTU.

During the summer season from 2nd June to 2nd October Air Canada will add another daily direct flight from Rome to Montreal besides the already operated route Rome – Toronto. Furthermore business travel from North Italy to Canada and other major domestic and international destinations will be advanced with cooperation partners via the European gateways Frankfurt, Munich, Paris and London.
