Mesothelioma Clinical Trials at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center Require Participants
New York Mesothelioma Law Firm
One trial involves the use of the investigational drug CBP 501. CBP 501 is an enzyme that affects cancer cell division. Trial participants will also be given standard mesothelioma treatment drugs Alimta and Cisplatin.
The second mesothelioma clinical trial examines the effectiveness of Everolimus. Everolimus affects the molecule mTOR. mTOR helps cancer cells grow. Participants for this study must have adequate lung function.
The third mesothelioma clinical trial studies the effectiveness of chemotherapy followed by Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT). Participants for this trial must not have had any prior chemotherapy or radiation treatment.
