Rishworth appoints Senior Recruitment Consultant
Rishworth Aviation Recruitment - Ian Harman
As well as being a qualified Aircraft Engineer, Ian has a great deal of experience within the general engineering fields; having spent many years as a hands-on engineer at some of the UK’s major blue-chip companies.
In addition to a specialisation in Aviation Maintenance, Ian also brings with him experience in the Aviation Recruitment area; having worked initially as a recruitment consultant for a top UK Recruitment company, which was part of the global Ranstad group. He was responsible for recruiting Licensed and Un-Licensed Engineers of all trades for some of the world’s major airlines and MRO’s, including KLM, Cargolux, Lufthansa, Air-Berlin and Easyjet.
An important part of this process was carrying out technical interviews with potential candidates: this is where Ian’s trade and industry knowledge ensured that the most suitable candidate was selected for the client. Due to his success in this recruitment position and his passion for client satisfaction, Ian was asked to take on the role of Operations Manager, which enabled him to further develop his account management and business development skills.
Based in Rishworth Aviation Recruitment’s Auckland office, Ian will be responsible for developing the engineering and aircraft maintenance side of the business; using his extensive knowledge of Aviation and Engineering recruitment to source and supply the right candidates for our clients.
