Social Media Leader Chris Brogan to Come to Memphis

MEMPHIS, TN (March 17, 2010) – Howell Marketing, Memphis Daily News, FedEx and Crye-Leike Realtors Judy and Mickey McLellan, in partnership with Pinnacle Airlines, the Peabody Hotel, Vanick Group and the Memphis chapter of the Social Media Club, announced today that Social Media expert Chris Brogan will host Powering the Conversation: How Social Media Gives Businesses a Big Voice, a social media seminar and book signing to be held in Memphis Thursday, May 6 at the Peabody Hotel from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

These local businesses have partnered to bring Brogan to Memphis after recognizing the value his expertise will offer to the local business community.

As the co-author of the New York Times Bestseller “Trust Agents: Using the Web to Build Influence, Improve Reputation and Earn Trust” and author of newly released “Social Media 101,” Brogan speaks to companies internationally on how social software aligns with their business strategies.
