QuEST Global Engineering awarded International Headquarters

Singapore, March 10th 2010: QuEST Global Engineering the leading global provider of diversified engineering services with core domain expertise in aerospace, automotive, consumer electronics, industrial products, nuclear engineering, power generation, oil & gas, and transportation verticals announced today that it would be making Singapore its International Headquarters effective April 1, 2010.

In a major business move, QuEST Global Engineering is consolidating its global operations and ownership of entities and setting up an 60 member team in Singapore with an investment of around USD 50 million over the next 5 years.

In support of the company’s decision, the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) has granted the International Headquarters (IHQ) Award, to QuEST Global Services Pvt Ltd.

Speaking on this momentous occasion, QuEST Global Engineering, CEO and Co-Founder, Ajit Prabhu said, “We are pleased to receive the IHQ award from the EDB and will be looking at setting up key engineering centers of excellence at our Singapore Headquarters in the coming years. We also intend to move senior management team to Singapore. This is as a significant step in our vision to become a USD 500 M organization by 2015”.

This is a significant move for QuEST Global Engineering, a move which clearly depicts Singapore’s rise as an international business hub and as a leading engineering services centre. Singapore’s strong talent pool, excellent market connectivity, coupled with its vibrant oil & gas and aerospace sectors are key reasons why QuEST Global Engineering has decided to locate its international headquarters in Singapore.

Commenting on the occasion, EDB’s Director (Energy, Chemicals & Engineering Services), Mr. Liang Ting Wee, said, “We’re delighted to welcome a leading fast-growth company like QuEST Global Engineering into Singapore.
