Automotive Agile PEP 2018 - Mastering Complexity to Foster Innovation

Berlin, September 11, 2018 – The Automotive Agile PEP is an international business event on the integration of agile principles, methods as well as practices into hardware and software development processes in the automotive industry. From November 25. – 27, 2018 the interactive conference in Berlin will see the leading automotive Hardware Developers, Product Development Experts, Project & Process Managers, Engineering & R&D Managers the daily challenges and approaches on integrating “agile” into automotive R&D.

The Automotive Agile PEP is a unique combination of inspirational keynotes, well-moderated, interactive World Café, Challenge your Peers sessions, an Agile Methodology Workshop, Icebreakers and much more. • Challenge your Peers: Functional safety & Agility in the automotive industry
Together with Joakim Ohlsson (Volvo), the participants discuss the question: In what way (if at all) could agile approaches facilitate work with functional safety?

• World Café Session: Using High-Performance Computing in Agile Development
In the interactive session, Christopher Woll (GNS Systems) and the conference attendees work out the milestones for using HPC in agile development.

• Case study: Agile and Kata
In his case study, Jens Paggel (Continental) shares lessons learned by using Kata to get more leadership into the organization.

• Workshop: Swarm Behaviour – A story about self-organization
The interactive workshop shows how it feels to work in a self-organized team. Michael Friedmann and Tim Scheumann (borisgloger consulting) explain what behaviors and skills characterize these kinds of teams.
